End of the tour and wonderful holidays:)

Hey y'all. I just got back from traveling around the West Coast and had a great time playing shows and seeing people. I got to play in Utah and Idaho, two states I hadn't played in before. I camped for a few days and it was super freakin' cold. On Halloween I bundled up in my tent in Pendleton, Oregon and ate candy and watched scary movies on my phone after walking through town seeing all the families trick-or-treating in the streets. That was pretty sweet.

I got to see a bunch of family I hadn't seen in years. I stayed with aunts and uncles and cousins and a group of good friends. I played at Occupy Seattle and a great house concert in Everett, WA. I got to eat kick-ass seafood with some good friends and ride the ferry across Puget Sound.

It was good to stay in Oregon again, also. I got to attend the West Coast Songwriters Exposition in Portland and hear some great panels talk about different aspects of the music industry. I stayed in Corvallis for a few days with my dad and had fun lounging. When I drove south to California it snowed over Siskiyou Pass and I just barely made it through before they made people use chains. I had a great show in Camarillo, CA at the Studio Channel Islands Art Center where a few musicians sat in and we rocked the house.

Good to be home now, waiting for snow and Santa to show up. I'll be out on the road again in February or so doing another West Coast run before hitting up the East and the South in late Spring. I hope everyone has lovely holidays and eats too much:)

Much love

Got some shows coming up in WA, OR, and CA in the next couple of weeks. I'm hangin' out up on the Bangor Naval base with my cousin and loving the WA weather. Playing at Forza Coffee Co Thursday. Playing a house concert tomorrow on base. Pretty soon it'll be time to get to work on booking the East Coast stuff. More to come!
Much love

Slow Tour Start

It's been a bit rough sealing up this tour, but I will be heading out in a couple of days. I play a show in Coeur D'Alene, ID on the 1st. If you know anyone in that area, let them know. New dates for the West Coast will be added in the next week or two as they get solidified. I'm working on getting free downloads added to my newsletter so I can toss in some b-sides and rarities each time I send out a newsletter from the website. I hope all is well with everyone. Much love.

Hey y'all!

Thanks to all the people who came out to my show in Phoenix this past weekend. It was super fun. I'll be back down there on October 1st.

This weekend will be a Payson show. It's a members only gig, though. At the end of September I'll be playing a couple of shows in Tennessee in the Nashville area. If you know anyone down that way, send 'em to my website for info on that stuff.

Then it's off to tour in the middle of October. It'll be the west coast for about a month and a half, then middle US and east coast after the first of the year. Keep checking the website for upcoming dates in your area.

That's the news here. Hope all is well with everyone. Much love:)

I have some new shows coming up that I'm super psyched about. They're both in Tennessee. One is at the Church Street Commons in White Bluff, TN on Friday, September 23rd at 7:30, and the other is at the 21st Annual Tye-Dye Festival in Adams, TN on Saturday, September 24th at 3:00. The Tye-Dye fest has a $20 weekend camping fee, but the Church Street Commons show is free. Let people know if you have any friends or family in the area. Folks can check out my website for more info on the shows. Much love:)

Okay, so maybe it's not something he would want shared, but I just had to show people this really pitiful picture of my dog, Shane, hiding in the bathroom during a thunderstorm. He's about to pee his pants. But have you ever seen such a cutie-face? You can tell by his expression that he suspects the picture will be posted somewhere online.

Anyway, the phone app for my music is complete and is available for free. It's available for Droid now, and will be available for iPhone in a couple weeks when they approve it. But make sure you tell everyone about it. It has a calendar with show dates, links to photos, videos, and info, and a "Song of the Week" spot that will feature songs in rotation. Not only that, but some of the songs will be previously unreleased stuff and b-sides. And stay tuned for tour dates coming up this fall:) Much love

We're just moments away from a brand new phone app. It'll look pretty sweet and be a free download as well. Also, tour dates are in the process of being worked out for the first leg, which will cover the west coast. Hopefully soon we'll have some dates up. This coming weekend, on Sunday the 14th, my band will be playing at the High Mountain Music Festival in Pinetop. There will be a bunch of bands playing all weekend, so everyone in the White Mountains should come check it out. We're playing at about 2:30. I'll have CDs there for sale and stuff as always. Support live music in the White Mountains! We need it:) Much love

Okay, so we're just a few days away from the app. It's gonna be super sweet, too. It'll have links for music, show schedule, and also a section for a featured, weekly song. In the not too distant future there will be a plethora of rare and unreleased songs that will be put up for people to listen to and hopefully a bunch of free downloads. Old recordings, B-sides, experimental stuff, and a bunch more yum-yums. And it will be a free app. That's the plan, Stan. I love the word plethora. Makes me feel smart. Much love:)

Okay, peeps. In the next couple of days there will be a phone app made for my music. Not all the details are final yet, but it should be pretty wicked awesome. Everyone will have to tell all their friends with smartphones about it. People with stupid phones will have to stick to using computers. I have a stupid phone still, but that very well may change soon. I wonder if smartphones make fun of all the other phones when no one is looking. Hmm.......

iTunes and CD Baby

Mordred the Quarter Known is now available on iTunes and CD Baby in digital format, and in hard copy form on CD Baby and Amazon

I'm working on getting a tour set up for the record. Takes awhile, though. Gonna play in Kolachi's tonight, which is a little Italian restaurant in Show Low. I truly miss the real Italian food back east. Nothing against Arizona, New York just does it better.

But what a lovely day. Clear and sunny, and perfect for disc golf. I'm house sitting for some friends now, so I have an entourage of goofy dogs laying all around, trying to stay cool. I like to hose them down and watch them run around in the yard like maniacs. I know it sounds mean, but once they remember how awesome it is to get wet on hot days, some switch gets flipped in their brains and they sprint around barking. I'd love to know what they are saying. Probably obscenities:)
