Howdy y'all. I know I haven't been on here for awhile, but I finally have some good stuff to share. I've been plugging away on the new album, which is getting closer every day. A couple days ago, Tobie Milford, violinist extraordinaire, came over and laid down some lovely violin parts. You can check out his stuff at TobieMilford.com. Very good wicked awesomeness. Later this week, Roy Figueroa Jr. will be stopping by to throw down some horn parts. It's sweet to get all the little tasty instruments on the tracks. Saw a great bumper sticker this weekend. It said "I like my politics tea flavored." I thought that was just special. I had some great shows lately. I got to play at Tranquility Day Spa a few weeks ago. Last weekend I played a show at Open Spaces Yoga Center. Still moving forward on the album, but still not sure of a finish date. If you haven't watched the show The Office, find it and watch it. I'm addicted. I've watched the first two seasons in the past two weeks. Flippin' love it. Okay, more updates soon. Much love:)

Howdy sports fans! It's been awhile since I posted an update on the music situation. Rest assured, we're getting there. Just a couple more vocal main lines to track and some horns and tasties and we're on our way. We just got hit with crazy super freez-tastic snow this past week, so everything slowed down. I had a pile in my yard that actually came up to my shoulders. As you can see from the picture, Shane wasn't very upset by it.

Another cool development is that the artwork is underway. Super wicked surrealist painter, JoBeth Sexton, is doing an oil painting for the cover of the album.
