I hope everyone had a super lovely christmas. Or whatever holiday you celebrate. And if you don't celebrate anything, then I hope you had a good day. I stayed over at my mom's house and had a sleepover with the dogs, stayed up late watching Seinfeld and drinking coffee with brandy, then woke up and did the whole giddy-children-at-christmas thing. Then we went straight back to work in the studio. Tracked some solid vocals the past few days. Our friend Jeremy was in town so he hung out for the session. Good to see him. It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Snuggie Man! Okay, so it's Whit with a snuggie knock off and the coolest sunglasses ever. This is the result of super late night, brain fried, non-stop studio sessions. Slap-happy crappiness will ensue. We're stupidly excited about where the album is at right now. It's time to start involving other musicians and tracking vocals, which will be the last stage in tracking. That means we will mix and stuff for awhile and be on our way to the end result.
